Our Story
Baoshi's story began in the summer of 2015 with the opening of Gold Marquess Fine Chinese Cuisine, a banquet-style restaurant nestled in the heart of Pembroke Pines. Our kitchen became a local favorite, serving up authentic Cantonese cuisine and crafting an unparalleled dining experience for the community.
After several thriving years, a new chapter was ready to unfold. The next generation, eager to build on the family's legacy, sought to bring a fresh and exciting twist to their culinary offerings. Noticing that the trendiest spots were concentrated along the east coast of Fort Lauderdale and Miami, the founders envisioned something unique for the Pines area.
Thus, Baoshi was born—an Asian food hall designed to transport diners on a vibrant culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Asia. This hidden gem, aptly named 宝石 (Bǎoshí) in Chinese, captures the essence of bustling Asian street markets. Under one expansive roof, you'll find a delightful array of food stands, a charming dessert shop, and a lively cocktail lounge, all coexisting harmoniously to offer an unforgettable dining experience.
